Inspired by Paul Giamatti

Continuing down Sam's list of Underrated Actors is Paul Giamatti.  Click Here to see why Sam put Paul Giamatti at #8 on  his list of Underrated Actors.

I was inspired by his character Marty Wolf in "Big Fat Liar" to make something monkey related. For those of you who haven't seen this movie, Marty Wolf was a conniving, compulsive liar, ego-maniac who when not tearing people a new one, was playing with his little toy monkey Mr. Funnybones.

My aunt had given be a big bag of brown felt so I used it to make a BIG monkey head pillow.  It measures 28-inches across. I also painted this little bobble head.  He's watching me now as I type this post. (bobble bobble)

Sideways (Widescreen Edition)The next movie of Paul Giamatti's I actually saw was "Sideways" and wow, what a difference a role makes.  Click here to read my take on why this actor is on Sam's underrated actors list.

I'm not a wine connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination.  But, I love the look of those melted wine bottle cheese trays.  So, where else would I go to find artists and crafters who find interesting and artistic ways to recycle wine bottles?  Why my Etsy Trashion Team of course.

Gorgeous slumped wine bottle cheese plate made by BPRDesigns of Portland, OR.   Of course it's made from Paul's character's favorite wine, Pinot Noir.  It even comes with a "cork" canape spreader, talk about a bonus!

This  beautiful bowl was "made from a 5 litres jug of good Italian wine" by Etsy artisan and fellow Trashion Team member Metamorphosi from Calcata, Italy.

Just in time for father's day and wedding season is a set of recycled wine cork cuff links from Misscourageous of Boise, Idaho

Shoot 'Em Up [Blu-ray]Sam is still working on a drawing inspired by his favorite Paul Giamatti movie "Shoot 'Em Up".  He won't let me post anything he's not 100% happy with so I guess I'll just have to be patient while we watch the movie again.
