Fall 2012 Fashion Color Palette

The Fall 2012 fashion color palette includes lots of black, white, red, and gray with a sprinkling of orange and yellow. There are also plenty of fun black and white prints and gorgeous tartans to choose from.

 

Glamour Magazines most wearable trends for Fall 2012

I created this one of a kind gray dress at Green Carbon 2112 using a vintage sewing pattern and a salvaged piece of lightweight grey wool. Its fitted and flared design will complement most body shapes. The over-sized black flowers wrapped around the sides of the dress give it a unique look.

 
One of my favorite books to read and movies to watch in autumn, (my favorite season), is 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' by Ray Bradbury. The look and feel of this piece combined with the black tattoo outline of the flowers are a nod to both the school teacher, Ms. Foley and the tattooed man, Mr. Black.
