Item #3 in the ALSPAC Challenge

I just love the shape of this pattern.  From the square neck, to the front tucks to the flutter sleeves, it's just so sweet.  I wanted to make a long dress with the fabric I had paired it with but just didn't have quite enough.  So, I opted to make the blouse instead and the cold weather made me really want to make something with long sleeves.
The size 10/12 girls' long sleeve shirt took about 1.5 yards of fabric.  This floral 100% cotton fabric was actually a scrap piece left over from a shower curtain I made about 15 years ago.  I really just can't seem to part with anything.

Here are some images of the finished product soon to be available on Etsy.  Of course if you'd like a 20% discount just email me with ALSPAC in the subject line of your email.  Feel free to pass along to your friends.

I just had Sam pull the next Amy Lyn's Stash Pattern Attack Challenge piece out of the bucket.  I was hoping it would be something I could make for myself, a vintage dress, or funky jacket.  But, no such luck.  I clearly have too many little girl patterns and sadly no little girls to wear them.

So piece #4 in the ALSPAC challenge is this totally cute romper with it's chosen fabric.
